I’m Dulkara Martig. I love lots of things in life: outdoor adventures, exploring the world, being creative, wholesome food, genuine people and simplicity. I’m a mad-keen hiker, packrafter, mountain biker, sea and whitewater kayaker and light mountaineer.

I grew up in New Zealand and spent most of my childhood running around barefoot in the bush and the snow, exploring the wild places of home. Being immersed in the outdoors from a young age gave me an appreciation for the simple things in life and for the importance of staying connected to nature. These things now guide my life.

Since graduating from university in my life has mostly revolved around wilderness expeditions into remote places. My escapades have taken me all over the world, from the snowy peaks of New Zealand, Nepal and Alaska to the deserts of Australia and Africa and the humid jungles of places like Borneo. Inbetween international adventures I enjoy exploring the familiar places of home back in New Zealand.
