Packrafting

I’m in love with packrafting! I bought my first ‘modern-day’ packraft in 2013. With a background in intermediate-level whitewater kayaking and a passion for rugged off-trail hiking missions, packrafting quickly became one of my favourite sports.

I enjoy many different styles of packrafting. Floating slowly down meandering streams, chatting to friends while soaking in the scenery. Rugged, remote trips with lots of scouting and more technical water. My favourite trips are typically remote and wild and I really enjoy long, multi-sport journeys.

Mostly I just love being outside and I love the way packrafting opens up totally different places and allows me to engage with nature in a new way. I recently went on my first ski-packrafting adventure and I’m excited to see what other adventures lie around the corner. I haven’t tried bike-rafting yet. That’s next on my list! Here are a few photos from my packrafting adventures. Sometimes I also make short edits on my trips, see a selection below.
